STAFF: Print the Complete Shipped Binder (Core 14) + Full Visuals

Step 1: Print Core 14 (binder contents)

  1. Open the authoritative checklist: core_v7.2/00_EntireBinderPrint/PRINT_CHECKLIST__SHIP_THIS.md
  2. Print the 14 Core files listed under PRINT_CORE from: core_v7.2/00_CANONICAL/01_CORE_CURRICULUM/
  3. Assemble into a binder in the order shown in the checklist.

Step 2: Print visuals (pilot-canonical set)

  1. Open the authoritative inserts checklist: core_v7.2/00_EntireBinderPrint/PRINT_INSERTS_CHECKLIST.md
  2. Print visuals from the single source of truth: core_v7.2/00_CANONICAL/07_VISUAL_ASSETS/07_VISUAL_ASSETS__PILOT_CANONICAL/

Optional (recommended for “Pilot A” shipments): print from the pilot snapshot

  1. Rebuild the pilot snapshot: core_v7.2/tools/build-pilot-release-package.ps1 (run with -Force)
  2. Print everything in: core_v7.2/00_PILOT_RELEASE_PACKAGE_V7.2/PRINT_CORE/
  3. Print visuals in: core_v7.2/00_PILOT_RELEASE_PACKAGE_V7.2/PRINT_OPTIONAL/07_VISUAL_ASSETS__PILOT_CANONICAL/

EDUCATORS: Print From the Digital Edition (Website)

Step 1: Print Core 14 from the Binder Hub

  1. Open: Curriculum Binder Hub
  2. In PRINT_CORE, open each document and use your browser’s Print at 100% scale.
  3. If you’re new: print only the “Day 1” essentials first, then expand over time.

Step 2: Download/print visuals

  1. Open: Visual Assets Library
  2. Download the ZIP (if available): Ocean Zones Visual Assets ZIP
  3. Unzip and print what you need (posters + student cards are the usual starting point).

If the ZIP link 404s: the admin needs to regenerate it using the build step in Section 0 of the SOP markdown.

Binder Tabs (Recommended) — Core 14 Map

Use this as the label set for your binder dividers. The “Doc #” column matches the canonical curriculum folder naming.

Support / Troubleshooting

  1. If a link 404s: confirm the page/file exists under core_v7.2/public_html/educators/ and re-upload to the live site if needed.
  2. If the visuals ZIP 404s: admin needs to regenerate it via tools/publish-visual-assets-to-portal.ps1 -Force.
  3. If printing looks “shrunk”: ensure 100% scale and disable “fit to page”.
