🎯 CRITICAL REMINDERS
CHARACTER ASSIGNMENTS - MUST BE CORRECT:
- ✅ BLUE ZONE = MANNY (Tired & Low Energy)
- ✅ GREEN ZONE = STELLA (Calm & Ready to Learn)
- ✅ YELLOW ZONE = SHELLY (Excited & Elevated)
- ✅ RED ZONE = CRABBY (Angry & Intense)
Do NOT mix up Stella and Shelly! This is the most common error and will confuse parents and students.
Blue Zone Language:
- ✅ Use: Tired, sluggish, bored, low energy, slow, sleepy
- ❌ Avoid: Sad, sick, lonely (vulnerable emotions)
Breathing Technique Names:
- Use the official 4 PRIMARY breathing technique names
- Each ocean friend has their own specific breathing technique
- Don't make up new breathing names
This template gives parents confidence and gets them excited to support their child's SEL learning with our ocean friends!
