About Spiral Breath
Spiral Breath is a Yellow Zone strategy that helps students who feel worried, overwhelmed, or emotionally flooded slowly unwind their big feelings.
How to Practice Spiral Breath
- Find your position: Sit or stand comfortably with one hand on your belly.
- Trace a spiral: Use your other hand to slowly trace a spiral in the air or on a desk.
- Inhale on the way out: Breathe in slowly as your finger moves out along the spiral.
- Exhale on the way in: Breathe out slowly as your finger moves back toward the center.
- Repeat: Continue for 3โ5 spirals, noticing your body feeling a little more settled each time.
