The Manta Glide breathing technique helps you feel calm, focused, and ready to learn. Just like Manny the Manta Ray glides smoothly through the ocean, this breath helps you move through your day with peace and steadiness.
How to Practice Manta Glide
- Find your position: Sit or stand comfortably with your feet flat on the floor
- Prepare to glide: Place your arms at your sides, palms facing down
- Breathe in (4 counts): Slowly raise your arms out to the sides like manta ray wings gliding upward
- Hold (2 counts): Keep your arms extended at the top, like gliding at the surface
- Breathe out (5 counts): Slowly lower your arms back down, gliding smoothly back to the ocean floor
- Repeat: Practice 3-5 times or until you feel calm and focused
